My Car rental, It makes life worthwhile

Posted by Guide On 7:33 AM

I never really paid much attention to the type of cars I owned. After the big bucks came rolling in, I’d spend my cash on any piece of flashy ride that would attract the ladies. Lamborghinis, Porches, BMW M3’s, as long as it was an elite ride I was content. I wanted to literally live in the fast lane, like the movie stars. Never mind the money, or the petrol it cost me to drive these monsters. Nothing made me happier than making heads turn while driving down Camps Bay, with the wind in my hair (thinning drastically now) and a content smile plastered on my face.

My Car is my life, my office, my secret love. Without transport I am no more a man then a mosquito is. With it, I feel like a god amongst the insects, traversing the landscape and spitting out other cars as I crush them in my wake. No, I did not purchase a monster truck. I decided to roll the dice and chance it on a Luxury Sedan. More specifically, the Chrysler 300. The 2008 Model. With a custom two-toned finish and white leather seating, this incidentally does not make it appear like a Russian pimp wagon. My Inferno-red car, with its pebble-beige interior took 9 months to arrive.  I considered a rental car to tide me over until my car parts arrived and then declined that idea. An executive car rental would set me back more than the price of waiting for my new parts.

Only a crazy man would purchase a brand new car. Yet it takes a special kind of crazy to spend close to a million rand on one piece of metal that devalues 10% the very moment you drive it out of the dealership. That’s R100, 000 in one meter. These are insane statistics which are countermeasure to my own selfish desires. Yet it’s what I want that matters. My wife disappeared with the pool boy years ago and my children live off the fat of my land. I have no desire to obtain the mistakes of my past life. I need to forge onwards, creating new opportunities that matter to me.

So what really matters in life? Being secure in your position at work? A steady flow of cash? Hot women straddling your arm making other men wish that they were you? Hell yes, all of these things are significant to me! I need to talk about my new car now; having a smart ride makes me want to boast about it.

This is mostly about stroking my own ego and keeping it inflated to prevent the likelihood of a speeding related stroke. Feeling good about oneself is the best way to stay healthy. A healthy mindset combined with a vehicle designed by geniuses is a sure way to keep me in my driver’s seat and out of the wheelchair. The more I drive, the more I feel alive, truly alive.
